The VTECS™ 5 Control Panel is a general purpose remote control panel for a wide variety of television equipment, but is particularly suited for controlling interface and frame sync units. The VTECS™ 5 Control Panel is designed to operate with a minimum number of keystrokes, making it ideal for on-air use. The VTECS™ 5 is an intelligent knob-per-function panel for on-air control of proc. amp and frame sync equipment. You can control interface and processing equipment from multiple vendors by using a Videoframe Interface VNODE™ with your panel. Interface VNODES are available for Leitch's DPS575 and NEO products, Snell & Wilcox's RollNet and SwitchPack, and Grass Valley's Gecko, Kameleon, and Ten-XL products. The RCP interfaces to your router to follow the X-Y panel, or to cause the monitors at your Q C station to follow the VTECS 5 Control Panel. The VTECS 5 allows multiple pages of controls per router source or processing channel. Like all Videoframe control panels, the VTECS™ 5 uses Ethernet TCP/IP communications and has an SNMP management feature.
