The Tally Expander is a general-purpose tally expansion unit that offers 64 dry closure relays and 32 GPIs in a compact 1 RU format.

Tallies can be configured as levels or pulsed outputs with programmable widths. All outputs can be set to normal or inverted operation. The outputs are grouped as four sets of eight closures with each set of eight having a common bus. This allows flexible external enable logic to be implemented.

The Tally Expander has Ethernet based TCP/IP connectivity and includes an SNMP agent. Setup and configuration is accomplished with a Windows 95/98/NT/Me/2000/XP application program provided with the unit. All software and configuration information is stored in flash memory to protect it during a power failure.
